This is my go-to french manicure. I do my own nails, no pro manicures, only pedicures. You can't beat this for a great look and ease of application. I ordered 2, and have used one. Package was delivered well, on time, and product was fresh……hadn't been sitting in the warehouse for months on end. That is key when applying as a stale product will not adhere and tears too easily. I don't use the enclosed natural color top. I seal the tips with clear or slightly tinted pink, depending on my mood. Lasts really well about 10 days.jb

My nails have been growing for about a month now and are about 1/8th inch from the tips of my fingers. It amazes me that I may be able to have my own natural nails as Salon Effects seems to keep them stronger. The edges of my nails used to snag and tear and even the damaged nails are barely doing that. Also, I don't see the verticle spliting that I usually have on a few of my nails after using this polish for about a month now. I know when the damaged nails grow out completely, they won't peel, split or snag and rip when I use Salon Effects. Having to use polish remover or peel my polish off removes tiny layers of of my nail every time I do it. Now I will only need to use polish remover a few times a month and will never peel my polish off again! Because the French Manicure is transparent, I decided to use regular polish over the top to cover my natural nails better. Oops, after I did, tiny bubbles appeared, but they weren't that noticeable so I just left them with bubbles. So happy that I tried this and am so happy to get off the unhealthy acrylic nail routine!flor.a

I love sally Hansen nail care products. Amazing brand especially their faux gel stuff! As for the French mani, the process was easy obviously going to take a little more time and focus and involvement than a regular mani. The strips mostly fit, maybe an extra size option for the middle types of fingers would have been good and maybe a slightly bigger thumb strip – as in wider. Also the strips come as two white tips on one strip so I would suggest in to see where the cut lines are and pre-cut them before starting the entire process otherwise you get stuck in an awkward position cutting them mid-mani and it jeopardizes the tips on the fist hand done… the nail bed color is pretty although I would have preferred a more translucent pink, the one included is like a milky pink and looks like the color of stick ons. Not my fav. Also depending on the base you use the strips will peel. I like to use the OPI pro health base and top coat for easy removal and a healthier option for the nail but the other aspect of it is that it peels easy so check on that.gabriela.h

Some background on me: I like the idea of manicures, but I haven't had a professional one in years. I hate that they mess around so much with my cuticles. I hate the smell. I hate that gels need to be soaked and scratched off. I have SUPER fast growing and hard fingernails, so even a gel manicure is too grown out at about 10 days. A regular manicure chips off in literally a second.. not even worth the time to apply. I got a competitors product in a subscription box (3x the price, "custom" fit nails). When I heard you could peel them off like a sticker, but there were durable as gels, I was intrigued. I tried those and loved that they applied easily and did last for about 10 days (those broke down at day 10 because my nail growth was getting too long). When it was time to remove, they did easily peel off, though those left a gunky glue on my nails that I had to remove with polish. The other brand was also almost too short to cover my whole nail, so when I wanted to try it again I looked for another brand. When I saw the price on these, I was not expecting much. I loved these. Since then I have used them every week for 5 weeks and I have stocked up on a wardrobe of them.. seriously about 30 packs.. to keep up my mani for the rest of the year. Here's what I've learned: – These are not as durable as the pricier brand. The edge will start to peel up on my two pointer fingers around day 5.. they last from Sunday night to Saturday morning. Then I take them off, file and condition my nails, then apply again on Sunday night. – These peel off PERFECTLY.. no gunk or residue. – It is SUPER important to apply with no wrinkles. The wrinkles will not "flatten out" – instead the color will peel off, looking chipped, and it will really shorten the life of the manicure as the edges start to detach. Apply carefully, and use something to press (hard) and smooth all edges. You'll get better with practice, and it will keep the stickers lasting at least a week+Boss Lady

The first time I did this, it took a while to get used to it but everything applied flat. The second time, it was a lot faster but I got some wrinkles. Make sure your nails are totally clean when you apply it. I love that they don’t chip, regardless of the design. They last longer than two weeks, the only downside being the growth you see due to time. Removal is pretty easy. You can soak your nails in water and start to peel them off easily. I’ve also peeled without soaking but don’t recommend that. I took one star off because of what happens to my nails after I use this. It really dries out the surface of my nails and leaves a white cast. I even have a chip across the surface of my nails, which was really bad. I think I would still use this for a special occasion, but it is brutal when you’re done so you need aftercare.mary anne.m

I'm comparing Dashing Diva to the Color Street nail strips I typically use – but to be fair they're not really the same thing. DD nail strips are not real nail polish, and they're basically nail stickers. Here's my takeaway: Pros- Last longer than CS because they're not actual nail polish. A big issue I have with CS is that the polish tends to chip and crack after the first few days of wear. Not the case with DD. Easy to remove, no acetone necessary. Convenient to buy since they're sold in stores. Cons- Because they're not real polish, you can't put a bigger size nail strip on your nail. You have to size down so their may be gaps between your nail and the strip unless you happen to have the perfect size cuticle for the DD nail strips. A bit tricky to apply in that once the strip creases there's no fixing it. There's more flexibility in the CS nail strips, so if you crease those you can lift and reapply with no visible crease. Not the case with DD, so I was just extra careful. I had a bit of creasing on the tips of one nail, but I think I need to be more careful when filing and make sure to only file down- not side to side. We'll see if that helps the next time I try these. Overall good for the price, and I'll definitely grab another pack in a different color.AP

This is the first set of Ohora nails that I’ve bought, and I’m in love with the color. The pictures aren’t able to do them enough justice. They look even better in person. Application was super easy, and I finished them with the glossy top coat.. I did have a couple that weren’t quite wide enough, but I’ve watched a couple of videos on how to stretch them for next time. With the stretching technique, you can probably get 2 sets out of one box, and have some strips left to incorporate with other sets if desired. I’m going to try using the bit of the strip I trim off as a pedi next time as well. You should have enough length left when you trim them to easily apply to your toes unless you have very long nails. I type all day at work, so longer nails tend to be in the way as much as I love them, but I still wanted a nice manicure. These turned out beautifully, and I’ve already ordered a few other styles. Absolutely impressed! An honest review – I read these last 2wks+, and have heard that before with so many other products, so didn't expect it was true but gave it a go anyway. They actually lasted 2 WEEKS! I work and am a mum so always have my hands wet, yet still got 2 weeks of perfect mani, no chipping or lifting AT ALL. Finally got my first chip in a nail today, literally 2 weeks after I put them on. Next is removal, that is often the worst part of a good product, but these came off in less than 10 mins and NO NAIL DAMAGE. Truely. A quick buff and my nails are back to perfect and ready for my next set. Plus they have grown and are longer than usual, as I have short thin & brittle nails. I will put another set on quick smart while they look nice and long. I am about to order like another 100 sets! Finally an at home mani that actually is as good as a salon and much cheaper. I just applied this set and it looks great! The various reviews complaining about color on this website always make me laugh. Nowhere in the description of this set does it say the solid color is green. The set is literally named "Quince," do people not know what color Quince is? One of my favorite things about Ohora nails is that I seem to be able to wear a lot of colors I could never get away with when I was "painting" the color on, such as the translucent, milky white colors. Even though it's opaque, I find this quince color to fall into that category. Give it a shot and you'll find it's actually quite flattering! I'm the "farmer" girl who loves her Ohora nails! I saw a lot of reviews that said they were hard to put on, hard to file, and didn’t last. Here is what I can tell you: They can be hard to get the right fit with the solid colors – the trick is to put it on one edge of your nail (while still on the plastic sheet) and rock it to the other edge to see if it fits. That did the trick for me. Hard to file – I also didn’t have this problem – the trick is to file just one side at a time straight down at the edge. Be careful not to file at an angle towards the top of the nail or it will make them look rough. If you file straight down in one area until the strip separates then it will come off clean. Then move to the next section and do the same. If it is still a little rough then file under the nail so you don’t scuff the top. And they don’t last? No way! My photo shows about 12 days of wear so far. Two tips for this one – the package says remove the strips with tweezers which can help prevent you getting too much oil on them, although I have never used tweezers, and they seemed to stick fine for me, I just grab them by the edge. Also, the package says use a clear coat over the top. I grabbed the Sally Hansen instant dry top coat. It works great. I absolutely love these, especially since I don’t have time to let nails dry with a small kid at home. And I will trim them in half and get double the uses out of almost all of the strips! Plus, I love these way better than other brands, for example Color Street, because when you are done with them, they peel off, and I don’t have to use nail polish remover like Color Street. I was hoping these would be like the sally hanson ones from a few years back, and if that is what you are looking for then you will be sorely disappointed. First of all they are difficult to put on in the first place, and require you to position in a way that you can't really see the rest of your nail and then often ends up not falling straight on the nail and so you have to peel and start over. While on first application it applied smooth after a couple of hours and into the next day it started lifting up at the edges, especially at the top of the nails. The first most annoying thing was trying to file the rest of it off, you will not get a clean line at all. While I initially though the thickness of the strips were a bonus they proved to be a nightmare to file or even cut off and left jagged ugly edges. I am writing this the day after I applied and every nail is lifting up at the sides or at the top. I used a based coat for this and thought that I would give it a day to see if its claims of not needing a top coat were true, that was a lie along with every other aspect of this. While I love the style and the color of the blue this is a hard pass. I will not try it again or anything else from this line. If they want to be the old school Sally hanson nail effects polish strips they need to get some serious learning in. These are just pathetic in comparison.whip

I am on day five of my nail strips and they are doing great edges and sides still secure. Having some bubbles raise up on the mail itself but I have changed diapers, washed hands, and washed a lot of dishes during these 5 days. Maybe the hot water is affecting the strips. Next time I will add a clear coat to assist in that area. Lasting better than my last manicure which didn’t make it through day 2. They may have a permanent customer if we can figure out the bubbles raising on the nail.Vickie

Loved how easy to put on. File edges and applied Revlon clear polish once every 4 days. Picture included… lasted 2 weeks through lots of animal care, rough work, wearing gloves! They're made with real gel, so it looks like you went out and spent $40+ on getting your nails done. You get 32 gel nail strips in the pack, so there are multiple sizes to choose from and there's something to fit every nail size. It comes with 3 different patterns in the package so you can really be creative with your nails. All you have to do is prep your nails with the prep pad (alcohol pad), select the proper size, peel off the back, apply the nail, and finally, file off the excess. Pictured on my nails: Polar Express (after 1 week) I came across these when I was scrolling through Instagram and knew I just had to try them. It did take me a couple tries to get used to applying them correctly. BUT after applying/changing them every 1.5 – 2 weeks for about 2 months, I’m able to get my full manicure done in under 30 minutes. These can definitely last longer than 14 days, but I like to change them out when my natural nail starts to show a lot at the base due to growth. To make them last longer, I use the and Essie Gel Couture Top Coat to really seal in the nail strip. If the strip is too narrow (usually its the thumb strip for me), I warm up the strip a bit with my fingers and slowly stretch it out so it fits better. I used to bite my nails and pick at my nail polish so much. Not to mention regular nail polish chips so quickly because I’m washing my hands and cleaning so frequently nowadays. With these nail strips, I am discouraged from biting/picking at my nails because the designs are just so cute! and I love love LOVE that they don’t chip or peel easily. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this caftan. It's soft and lightweight with the perfect touch of sheerness. Super comfy and sexy. Makes me feel like I'm lounging by the pool in St. Barth's when I'm stuck at home during COVID. Also love that it buttons up (making it super versatile for hopping on Zoom meetings). I can't say enough good things about this caftan. If they made it as a tunic I'd snap that up too (hint, hint Nordstrom and Everyday Ritual). This is perfect for around the house or at the pool. The fit is perfect. Not too tight in the chest, even if you are larger on top. It also allows you to bend/cross your legs with ease. Warning – the fabric is very light and see though. You could not wear this out. Additionally, it seems so light that I would suggest washing it by hand. This should not deter you from purchasing.
