From when can I listen to my baby’s heartbeat?

Generally you should be able to hear your baby’s heartbeat from the 12th week of pregnancy. Depending on the baby’s development, the heartbeat can be perceived as early as the 10th week of pregnancy. Some mothers, however, do not hear the heartbeat until the 14th week of pregnancy.
Listening to the heartbeat is easy: Place the probe on your belly and move it slowly back and forth until you hear the heartbeat clearly. Sometimes you might need to hold the probe at a slight angle to receive a better signal.You will become more confident after a while and get a better feeling for your child’s position every time you use AngelSounds.
How often and how long should I use AngelSounds?
Basically, you can use AngelSounds as often as you like.However, we recommend to limit the usage to a few minutes per day and not to listen to the heartbeat excessively long. Use the device responsibly.

What if I do not hear any heartbeat with AngelSounds?
If you are not able to detect the heartbeat immediately, it may have various causes.Please check the unit, either the battery may be flat or the device or the headphones may be defective. If you are able to hear your own heartbeat clearly, the device works fine.Sometimes the baby lies in an unfavourable position, which causes AngelSounds not to receive any signal.Please contact your doctor or midwife before you allow yourself to get anxious.
What if the unit does not work?
AngelSounds is nearly maintenance free. Please check for any damage or cracks on the exterior surface on a regular basis. Especially if AngelSounds has been dropped or been exposed to similar forces. If you notice any damage or cracks, please do not use the unit any longer and do not apply any gel or other liquids. Protect the device from direct sunlight.
Should the unit not show any function, but the exterior surface is without any noticeable defects and the battery is still working, the device might be defective. Please contact your local distributor in such case. If it is required to send the device back, please return it along with all supplied equipment in its original packaging and frank the parcel sufficiently.
The guarantee is 12 months from the date of purchase. All guarantee expires in the case of misuse, incorrect handling and unauthorized attempts to repair.

AngelSounds is a battery operated (9V), portable Fetal Doppler to detect and monitor the unborn child during pregnancy.
The acoustic intensity of AngelSounds is internally controlled and cannot be adjusted by the user.
The duration of exposure, however, is under the control of the user. You should make sure that you keep the fetus from long exposure to the ultrasound.
If the user is familiar with the examination methods described in the manual, optimal diagnostic information will be obtained from minimum ultrasound exposure.
