CSUEB offers a solid education at an affordable price, which was a significant factor in my decision to attend. The lower tuition fees compared to other universities allowed me to pursue my degree without accumulating a huge amount of student debt, which is a big plus. The professors are knowledgeable and supportive, and I appreciated the diverse range of courses available, which gave me the flexibility to explore different interests and tailor my education to my career goals.
However, one area where I feel CSUEB could improve is in job search assistance. While the Career Center does provide resources, more personalized guidance and stronger connections with employers could be beneficial for students transitioning into the workforce. Enhancing internship opportunities and networking events would also help students gain practical experience and make valuable industry connections. Overall, my experience at CSUEB was positive, and I appreciate the quality education at an affordable cost.

By far one of the worst universities in the California State University, Professors in the department of Science are totally unprofessional and straight up inappropriate with students. The deans and department chair are morons. This school keeps cutting programs while overcharging “fees” and good luck living in the disgusting mold filled rat infested dorms that you need to take out loans for! Professors are leaving in drones and they instead are keeping the useless unprofessional professors like Gallegos, Curr, Tahir, Kotchevar, and many more my god. Made the worst mistake coming to East Bay, go to an actual school with funding and social life like SF state, San Jose, San Diego etc. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.

My Stay at East Bay 2 years ago to now has been Pretty Amazing! Its very diverse with people from all over the world, the food is great and the Professors are pretty cool and lively. My favorite Professor was from Calc. II, that guy was both chill and funny. The food from the cafeteria is shockingly good, and the campus has a Taco Bell, Panda Express, and a Poki resturaunt that I like to go to.
